Prof. Roger Rebeiz

Dr. Roger Rebeiz's was graduated from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon in 1981. He pursued further specialization, obtaining an MSc. in Endodontics from the University of Paris VII, in 1986. His career at Saint-Joseph University saw him progress from an assistant in the department of Endodontics in 1985 to an assistant Professor in 1988, and ultimately a Professor of Endodontics in 1991. His influence extended beyond teaching, as he directed the postgraduate Endodontics program from 1992 to 1995 and chaired the department from 1997 to 2001.

Notably, Dr. Rebeiz played a pivotal role in founding and directing the Dental College, a center for continuous education in Lebanon since 2004. He also founded and directed the Lebanese International Dental Center, a center for continuing education in Baghdad, Iraq, and served as the Director of Dentra, an academy of continuing education in Saudi Arabia.

He also held leadership positions, serving as President of the Lebanese Society of Endodontology (1997-2000) and as a past president of the Lebanese Dental Association (2018-2021).

Dr. Rebeiz's impact reverberated globally, evident through his contributions as an international lecturer and his role in the development of nickel titanium rotary instruments for root canal treatment. Throughout his journey, he maintained a private dental practice in Lebanon since 1984.

Dr. Fatima El Baba

Dr. Fatima El Baba graduated in 1981 from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon. Her pursuit of specialization led her to obtain an MSc. in Prosthetic and Esthetic Dentistry from the University of Paris VII in 1985.

Demonstrating her commitment to education, she served as the Head of the Department of Prosthodontics at the Lebanese University of Beirut from 1986 to 1996. Her leadership extended to directing the postgraduate program of D.U. of Prosthodontics at the Lebanese University from 1998 to 2009. In 2004, she assumed the role of director of the section of Prosthodontics in the Dental College, a center for continuous education in Lebanon. Over the course of her path, she has managed a private dental practice in Lebanon since 1984.

Professor Philip Souhaid

Professor Philip Souhaid graduated from the School of Dental Surgery at Saint-Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. He holds several postgraduate degrees, including Certificates of Advanced Graduate Studies in Pediatric Dentistry and a master’s in public health from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, he holds a Certificate in Orthodontics from New York University and a Diploma in Orthodontics from Dijon, France.

Throughout his career, Pr. Souhaid has held significant academic and leadership positions. He served as the former Chairman of the Department of Public Health at the Lebanese University, the former Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Saint Joseph University and was a former Chief Consultant for Dental Health Programs at the American University of Beirut.

Dr. Souhaid has been recognized for his outstanding contributions in various domains. He received the Fulbright honor for his work with handicapped children from the United States of America, as well as numerous distinctions from different Lebanese political associations for his efforts in ecology and environmental preservation. Over a span of more than 20 years, he dedicated his time to teaching at Saint Joseph University and initiated numerous post-doctoral programs, earning him the title of Full Professor.

In the field of public interest, Pr. Souhaid is a dedicated advocate for ecology and the environment. He co-founded several associations, including "Friends of Nature" and the "Ligue Ecologique Libanaise." He was elected as a member of the LDA Council in 1995, serving a three-year term, during which his primary focus was the welfare of dentists and the advancement of preventive dentistry.

Furthermore, he was elected as the President of the International College of Dentists (ICD), Lebanese chapter, in both 2012 and 2016. Pr. Souhaid also oversaw the Orthodontic DU external program at the University of Bourgogne in France and the DU external program at the University of Genoa in Italy.

Currently, he operates his own dental practice in Lebanon. His teaching engagements are primarily centered at the Dental College and at the Mastery Academy in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also serves as a part-time lecturer in Morocco, Dubai, France, Italy, and the USA.

Prof. Joseph Sabbagh

Prof. Sabbagh graduated from Saint-Joseph university in Beirut. In 2004, he obtained his PhD in biomaterials from the Catholic University of Louvain (UCL), Belgium. In 2000, he obtained a Masters in operative dentistry (restorative dentistry and endodontics) from UCL. He obtained two certificates of advanced studies in biomaterials and operative dentistry from the university of Paris-VII, France, in 1997 and 1998. In 2020, he obtained an HDR degree (Higher Degree of Research) from the Lebanese University, Beirut. Currently, he is a professor, and the former head of department and director of master program of restorative dentistry and Endodontics in the Lebanese University and the director of several research projects. His private practice is limited to aesthetic dentistry and endodontics in Brussels and Beirut. He has published more than 25 papers in international peer-reviewed dental journals and has lectured locally and internationally and holds continuous education courses in different fields of aesthetic dentistry. He has edited and published a book by Springer entitled ¨Bulk Fill Resin composites in dentistry¨ (January 2023). He is a member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry USA, the editorial board of Reality -Journal, USA, the International Association of Dental Research, and fellow of the International College of Dentists.

Prof. Edward Rizk

Prof Edward Rizk earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1994 from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon. In 1999, he obtained his masters in Endodontics. His dedication to the discipline is exemplified by his role as the President of the Lebanese Society of Endodontology (LSE). He is also recognized as a Fellow of the International College of Dentistry (ICD).

Prof. Rizk serves as the Head of the Department of Endodontics at the facutly of Dental Medicine within the Lebanese University. He imparts his extensive knowledge and expertise as an instructor in the postgraduate program and co-director of the Endodontic program at the Dental College.

His commitment to advancing dental education is further evidenced by his role in establishing and leading a Continuing Education Center since 2004, benefiting dental professionals in Beirut and across Arab countries.

Prof. Rizk is an esteemed specialist member of the European Society of Endodontology (ESE) and holds a position on the board of the Arab Endodontic Society (AES). His global impact extends to his membership in the endodontic team of the Federation “Dentaire Internationale” (FDI) and the International Federation of Endodontic Associations (IFEA).

Furthermore, Prof. Edward Rizk is an active member of the Asian Pacific Endodontic Confederation (APEC), showcasing his commitment to collaboration and excellence within the international dental community.

Dr. Georges Hage

Prof Georges HAGE was graduated from Saint Joseph University- school of dentistry- Beirut in 1984. He obtained 2 certificates of advanced studies in Oral Surgery and Periodontology from the university of Paris VII-France in 1986 and 1987 respectively. In 1989 he obtained his Doctorate in Odontologic Sciences with honor from university of Paris VI where he teached periodontology for 16 years and was consequently nominated associate professor in the department of periodontology of the U.F.R. of Stomatology and Maxillo-facial Surgery-Paris VI.

He published and co-published few articles in international peer-reviewed dental journals and contributed as a co-author in 2 internationally recognized books in Advanced Implant Surgery. He has lectured locally and internationally and is currently a visiting professor at the post-graduate program at the department of Periodontolgy-Saint Joseph University.

He has directed for many years 2 programs of continuing education in Advanced Plastic Surgery and Advanced Implant Surgery at the Dental College-Lebanon. He is a member of the Academy of Osseointegration since 1995.

His private practice is limited to periodontology, implantology and oral surgery in Beirut and Paris

 

 

 

Prof. Ibrahim Nasseh

Prof Ibrahim Nasseh obtained his DDS degree from the School of Dentistry at Saint-Joseph University of Beirut. He pursued further education and specialization, earning certificates of advanced studies in Oral Biology, Oral Radiology, and Conservative Dentistry in Paris, France.

Prof. Nasseh also achieved a "Doctorat des Sciences Odontologiques" (DSO) from Paris VI, France, showcasing his dedication to dental research and academia. His academic pursuits extended beyond dentistry, as he completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lyon 3, France.

Throughout his career, he held significant leadership positions in academia, serving as the past director and interim Dean of the School of Dentistry at the Lebanese University. He also chaired the department of Oral Radiology and directed the Oral Radiology postgraduate program at the Lebanese University's Faculty of Dental Medicine.

Prof. Nasseh's contributions to the dental profession are not limited to academia; he has actively participated in various dental associations. He served as the past president of the Scientific Committee within the Lebanese Dental Association and is a fellow and chairman of the Middle East Section of the International Team of Implantology. Additionally, he holds the distinction of being a fellow of the International College of Dentists and is an active member of the International Association of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology.

In addition to his academic and leadership roles, Prof. Nasseh has made significant contributions to the dental field through numerous publications in both local and international journals. His expertise is recognized globally, as he has been invited to deliver lectures in various countries, sharing his knowledge and insights with dental professionals worldwide.

Dr. Fatme Hamasni

Prof Fatme Hamasni, has a rich educational background, completing her Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Health, and Medicine at Lebanese University in November 2009, focusing on crown lengthening procedures and gingival tissue reestablishment. She also holds a Doctorate in Odontological Science, a postgraduate in Periodontology from Faculty of Dental Medicine in Monastir, Tunisia, and a certificate in Advanced Study in Pharmacology from Faculty of Medicine in Marseille, France. She is currently a Professor at Beirut Arab University since September 2022, where she actively contributes to the educational programs in Periodontology and Implantology, both at the master’s and undergraduate levels.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Hamasni held a longstanding position as a Professor in Periodontology and Implantology at the Lebanese University Faculty of Dental Medicine from September 1987 to September 2022. Her contributions were vast, including the establishment of the Periodontology department and postgraduate program, as well as serving as the head of department of Periodontology. Over the years, she played a pivotal role in academic and research activities, supervising numerous theses and delivering conferences and courses on various Periodontology and Implantology topics in national and international scientific congresses.

In addition to her academic endeavors, Dr. Hamasni founded the Hamasni Dental Clinic in Beirut in March 1986, aiming to deliver high-quality dental care through interdisciplinary cooperation among specialists. Furthermore, she holds a significant role as Vice President of the Lebanese Society of Periodontology, contributing to the advancement of the field and representing Lebanon in international dental organizations.

Dr. Fawzi Karam

Dr Fawzi Karam obtained his degree of DDS from the School of Dentistry at Saint Joseph University in 1983. Subsequently, He completed a specialized training in Oral Surgery and Pathology in the institute of Stomatology and Maxillofacial Surgery at “La Salpetriere Hospital” in Paris for 2 years. In 1985, he obtained a CES in fixed Prosthodontics, from “Rene Descartes University”, Paris. In 1986, he obtained a CES in Surgical Odontology, from “La Salpetriere Hospital”, Paris. In 1997 than in 2010, he was simultaneously granted he degree of specialist in ”Oral Surgery” and specialist in “Oral Implantology” from the Ministry of Health and the Lebanese Order of Dentists. Between 1986 and 2012, and for more than 25 years he was faculty and lecturer in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, in the Dental School of the Lebanese University. He was the director and a member of the Founding Team of the ”Post-Graduate Program” of Oral Surgery and Oral Implantology installed at the same university in 1995. He is a founding-member of the Lebanese Society of Oral Surgeons.

Prof. Ziad Noujaim

A Diplomate of the European Board of Oral Surgery, Prof. Noujeim is currently a Consultant Oral Surgeon at Baabda University Hospital and the Lebanese Army Central Hospital in Beirut, Lebanon. Throughout his career, Prof. Noujeim has served as the Chairperson of both the Scientific Committee and the Continuing Education Committee of the Lebanese Dental Association (LDA) in Beirut. His commitment to advancing dental education and clinical practice is further evidenced by his role as a reviewer for prominent journals such as the Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA) and the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (JOMS). He has also made significant contributions to academic publishing. He is a former Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Lebanese Dental Association (JLDA) and served as the Section Editor for Surgical Pathology in the Annals of Maxillofacial Surgery. His academic influence extends to his previous roles at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Dental Medicine, where he was a Senior Lecturer, Postgraduate Tutor, and the Director of the Oral Surgery and Oral Pathology Postgraduate Programs. His leadership within the oral surgery community is exemplified by his tenure as President of the Lebanese Society of Oral Surgery. Additionally, Prof. Noujeim has contributed to the academic community as a former Clinic Chief and Lecturer in the Department of Oral Surgery at Saint Joseph University of Beirut. Internationally, Prof. Noujeim has expanded his expertise through positions as a Clinical Associate at Paris VII University Dental School in France and as a Clinical Fellow in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, USA.

Dr. Dani Irani

Dr. Dani Irani senior instructor at saint Joseph University, Prosthodontic department, KOL of VOCO GmbH in the digital and printed solutions section. Since 2021, Dr. Irani has been using the latest technologies implemented in the Digital workflow especially those related to printed materials to fabricate temporary printed crowns, removable total prosthesis, splint guards and surgical guide planning and execution.

Dr. Johnny Haddad

Dr. Johnny Haddad is a highly accomplished Smile Design Specialist with over 30 years of private dental practice experience. He has dedicated his career to minimally invasive dental aesthetics, restorative cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry and full mouth rehabilitation. 

An acclaimed international speaker, Dr. Johnny served as a postgraduate lecturer for the British Society of Cosmetic Dentistry and the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry, MENA region. He was a lecturer and council member of the British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry (BAIRD). He currently teaches Dental Public Health and Dental Photography at the Lebanese University

Dr. Johnny received his DDS and earned postgraduate degrees in Oral Biology and Dental Public Health Education from the Lebanese University. In 2008, he completed an extensive Smile Design program by the American Society for Clinical Research, Santa Maria, California. He is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry since 2006.

Due to his talent and expertise, he was the chosen Cosmetic Dentist for the reality TV Show Beauty Clinic, the Arab Extreme Makeover. In May 2013, Dr. Johnny bagged first place in the “I Love My Dentist” competition in the UAE, winning over 144 dentists from 23 countries.

Dr. Rita El Feghali

Dr. Rita El Feghali is a dental surgeon who graduated from Saint Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon. She obtained her Master of Science Degree in Laser Dentistry with honors from the University of Genoa,Italy (year 2014), where she is currently a Professor a.c. at the Department of Surgical Science and Integrated Diagnostics.

She is an international speaker who has presented and instructed in several laser courses and dental events in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East and has authored and co-authored several laser peer-reviewed articles published in high impact factor journals. Dr El Feghali is a peer-reviewer in ‘Lasers in Medical Science’ and MDPI journals.

In her private practice, she works with different DIODES (445, 660, 810, 980, 1064nm), Nd:YAG and Er:YAG lasers.

Dr. Dora Chaaban

Dr. Dora earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Lebanese University in 1997. Demonstrating a commitment to ongoing education, she pursued postgraduate studies, obtaining a diploma in Removable and Fixed Prosthodontics in 2000 and a specialization in Oral Biology in 2001.

Dr. Chaaban has been a dedicated instructor at the Dental College since June 2004, contributing to the education and training of future dental professionals. Her expertise extends to prosthodontics and aesthetic smile enhancement.

In the period from 2002 to 2007, Dr. Chaaban served as a Prosthodontics and Aesthetic Smile Specialist at Smile Center Clinics. In 2007, she founded her private clinic in Beirut, where she continues to provide exceptional dental care and prosthodontic services.

Dr. Tamara Rebeiz, based in Beirut, Lebanon, is a dentist specialized in periodontology and implantology. Graduating from Saint Joseph University with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Diploma in 2018, she furthered her expertise with a Masters in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry in 2022. Since 2018, Dr. Rebeiz has been affiliated with Polyclinic Rebeiz, and in 2022, she began her role as a Clinical Instructor at Saint-Joseph University's Department of Periodontology.

Dr. Tamara Rebeiz is an ITI member since 2021 and she had the privilege to be a speaker for this institution locally and internationally.

Alongside her academic and professional dedications, Dr. Rebeiz has contributed to various scientific publications and remains actively involved in humanitarian dental missions in Lebanon.

Dr. Andrea Chemaly

In 2020, Dr. Andrea Chemaly attained her degree from Saint-Joseph University of Beirut, Lebanon. Subsequently, she pursued her specialization in Prosthetic and Esthetic Dentistry within the same establishment, culminating her journey in 2023. Her academic contributions began in 2022 when she assumed a teaching role at the Saint-Joseph University of Beirut.
